FAQ

How does the commission process work?
After discussing the details of your artwork with you and receiving payment confirmation, I get right to work!
My workflow follows these stages: Rough Sketch > Sketch > Lineart > Rendering. I send updates to you at every step of the way!

Rough Sketch: I send you a few small thumbnails so we can work out the composition and general vibe of the artwork.
Sketch: I take the chosen rough and re-sketch it, adding more detail and fleshing out the scene, as well as painting values so we can figure out the lighting of the piece.
Lineart: I clean up the sketch, adding the final linework for the artwork.
Rendering: It's the final step, where I start coloring and working on the light and shadow, until the commission is done!

Can I give feedback or ask for revisions?
Yes! Every time I send an update you can ask for changes, as long as they don't extrapolate the current stage (e.g. asking to redo the lineart after it's been approved).
Can I have my money back if I don't like the initial sketch?
You're entitled to a total refund if you want to cancel your commission at the rough sketch step. If we move forward with the project but you decide to cancel, it will be a partial refund, depending on which stage your commission is at.
Do I need a character reference?
No, you don't! If you don't have one I can make one for you at an additional charge!
Do I need to claim a slot if I join the waitlist?
No, you don't! However, clients on the waitlist will be the first ones with access to the commission form, as well as get news about new openings and sales!
